The Roman Senate celebrates the success of the ambitious Veteran Construction Initiative or VCI Investments package.

In a bold and visionary move, Imperator Augustus Tiberius Aurion Caesar, the steadfast leader of our great Empire, has overseen the construction of over 40 esteemed Veteran colony cities in the stunning landscapes of our lands. Among these remarkable cities, 10 have been dedicated to honoring the illustrious name of Imperator Tiberius Aurion Caesar himself.

When asked what he thought of this when hearing the names of each city Tiberius said “The Roman people in all their righteous might have bled and died for this land and many are veterans of years of military service well past their terms of contract when enlisted. We all owe these Legionnaires a great debt that can never truly be repaid but what we can do is make lives for them and their families as comfortable and successful as possible so that they can spend their lives enjoying the fruits of the peace they have won for all Roman Citizens. I seek only to serve the Roman State and People to the best of my ability.

These cities are effectively created by issuing parcels of land to veterans who either having served 12 years in the Imperial Army and are entitled to discharge or having been wounded in action and medically discharged. In addition to receiving their monthly imperial pension Veterans also receive land allotments for farming, housing, educational scholarship programs for children, and depending on former military rank funding to develop the lands with mines or other manufacturing subsidies or commerce to improve market performance for the local economy of the new cities in the provinces and throughout the empire.

As news of this monumental achievement spread like wildfire across the Empire, the Roman Senate was quick to respond. Senators from all corners of Rome lavished praise upon Imperator Tiberius Aurion Caesar for his unwavering dedication to the prosperity and well-being of our people. One Senator Willy was quoted as saying “Making sure war veterans receive their land allotments is the top priority of this august body of the Roman politc and it was the driving force behind legislators push of support for the Imperator spending program. The spending is large because the Roman people are entitled to no less and we will continue the work of the people by addressing their economic needs.”

Senator Bobby the esteemed who also is a highly decorated veteran having commanded legions into many battles and achieved several of Romes highest military decorations and is seen by many as the unofficial chairman of the Veteran community, hailed the initiative as a shining example of Roman ingenuity and resilience. "Imperator Tiberius Aurion Caesar's commitment to honoring my brothers and expanding our Empire's horizons knows no bounds. These new cities stand as a testament to his unwavering leadership and vision for a brighter future for all Romans and especially our soldiers and these men deserve the highest quality of life and standard of living and healthcare the Roman State can provide for them. Of course we have much more work to do but the results of the successs so far speak for themselves. Nobody gets left behind in Rome, we focus on the most needing and the most vulnerable. Our veterans have been the strongest Rome has to hold back the barbarians but after their service they need the most support and gratitude that can be offered and while we can never do enough to honor their sacrifices we can do all we can to give those with military service pride and the care they need to live a life of dignity.”

Vulpes Inculta, the Chief Justice of the Roman Judiciary added, "The construction of these Veteran colony cities not only serves as a beacon of hope for our valiant veterans but also strengthens the bonds of unity and camaraderie that define our Empire. Imperator Tiberius Aurion Caesar's foresight in this endeavor will undoubtedly go down in the annals of Roman history and not since the land reform of the Grachi brothers has such land redistribution been implemented."

As the sun set over the grandeur of Rome this evening, Magistrate Biggus Dickus, the head of the Department of Roman Culture, made a stirring announcement. "Let it be known far and wide that the Roman Senate stands united in its fanatical support for Imperator Tiberius Aurion Caesar's remarkable push for investment into the regions of the empire lacking the most investment thus far and aims to develop all regions of Rome no matter the wealth of the regions. Long live our Imperator, long live the Republic! Glory to the Roman soldiers from all four corners of the empire!”
