The Republic of Novorossiya stated that it plans to change the pollution ongoing in the world and to clean energy that they promised to the public back when declared independence. Upon declaring independence, the DNP promised the citizens that they condone the use of coal and oil and seek to migrate pollution, but the DNP and Onufriy Shvets(Secretary of Energy) allowed the country to use coal.  Onufriy Shvets(Secretary of Energy) and Mefodiy Konstantinov(Secretary of Health) had a meeting with the president that was regarding clean energy and the president was convinced and pass that bill. President Alexsandr Boiko said, "The world has suffered enough pollution for ages and this is a time where we could change that." Most of the population in Novorossiya agreed to what their president mentioned about pollution but the one opposing it are supporters of the TPN and about half of the UNW. This led to the Clean Age bill being passed in the State Duma.

So far the bill has proved successful, using cleaner power does use more improvements but the state now has more coal which helped them with the Self-Reliance Act that was passed awhile ago. The only cities that are strictly using clean energy as of this news outlet being braodcasted are Dnipro, Kamianske, Novomoskovsk, and Petrikovka. The tiny Republic of Novorossiya believes in a change in pollution in the world and many nations have been doing it before and will continue.
