The Victorian Rebel Group

A rebel group, known as Rhyddid, has declared the state of Northern Territory under their control. The rebel group's existence was allegedly known by MI6 but they concluded that they would keep them classified to prevent hysteria in the Australian populace.  Reports exiting the Northern Territory have claimed that more than 46,000 Northern Territory and 92,000 Anti-victorian civilians are a part of the rebel group. A further 30,000 armed fighters are estimated to be located in the region; some of these fighters are affiliated with the Italian Mafia, The Yakuza, The Russian Mafia and the Syndicate. A further 18,000 PMC soldiers from G4S have been deployed to the area to teach the local rebel group basic military training. All of these personnel will occupy the state indefinitely until Victoria grants them independence. The face of the rebel group, Jack Oliver, has released a statement regarding the situation; “Victoria has completely ignored our state, denying it the attention it demands. We, the Northern territory population, will not stand for this blatant betrayal any longer. We urge the Victorian leadership to grant our independence".

More than 1,500 Victorian troops have been taken hostage by the group. They claim that if their demands are not met, they will be executed. 

To prevent the spillover of the rebel group, Britain mobilised their border and sent thousands of soldiers stationed in Africa to patrol the Victorian-British border.
