Hologram Elvis Begins Residency at NEC:

December 23rd 2087, the Democratic People's Republic of Iraq launched a never seen before sensation. It was announced a hologram of Elvis Presley would tour the world to give concerts like the King of Rock 'n Roll himself gave them. The shows were a massive succes, attracting millions of interested fans. Although the DPR of Iraq has since collapsed in the early 2090's, the hologram system and it's official creators have survived. A meeting was set up between President Kuyper, the owners of the National Entertainment Center in Amsterdam and the owners of the hologram. 

At the end of July this year, a deal was closed. The Iraqi businessmen sold the hologram and all of the neccesary equipment to the Dutch State for 2 million Dutch Gulden. The NEC has since then worked on constructing a showroom for the hologram looking exactly like the venue in Las Vegas that Elvis used to play when he was alive. In addition to that, scientists have been paid to create an AI for the hologram, allowing for a better, more original concert experience.

Starting in October of this year, hologram Elvis will be playing 2 shows a week in the NEC, tickets will be sold at 30 Gulden a piece. Experts foresee a large spike in tourism in Amsterdam. Long term effects have not been calculated.

Investigation Into Fastfood Chains Drags On:

The investigation committee in the courts of The Hague have been interviewing both high bosses and lower employees of American fastfood chains like McDonalds, Burger King and KFC. It has been revealed that these workers are paid much less than the legal requirement in our country, and it is even worse so on the DCH. It was also revealed (not confirmed) that these fastfood chains indeed do use banned substances within their food. 

Within the coming weeks, CEO's of the local branches of said fastfood chains will be called to the stand to comment on these allegations and bring a defense. Afterwards, the committee will set up a detailed report and hand it to the state, in which will be revealed what they found out and what their recommended course of action is.

New Military Operation in the MAOZV:

Military Administration of the Occupation Zone in Victoria | 23-09-2092

After receiving worrying reports from the frontlines in the MAOZV, the Dutch have decided to send more troops to protect the zone. There have also been rumours of a full scale declaration of war against the enemy forces in Victoria, but those rumours have been denied by Supreme Commander Winkelman. Reports have reached us about 50,000 soldiers, 500 more N-21's, 750 more S-12's and an unknown number of other equipment have crossed the border into the MAOZV, alongside a parts of the Nederlandse Luchtmacht (Dutch Airforce).

These forces are preparing to take on an enemy attack, but more importantly to strike back and expand the MAOZV, should an attack happen. Operation Ekster is absolutely not over, and our brave boys will protect the civilians of Victoria. Also we recognize the government in Mons as the only legitimate government of Victoria, provided it keeps working with the Dutch military in the area.
