For some unknown reason, Supreme Commander Winkelman has signed the order for full mobilisation of the NRL. The reserves have been called up, requests of leave have been denied and all soldiers on leave have been recalled to begin extensive training. The vehicles of the both the ground forces and air forces are being brought into full combat readiness.

Is the Dutch Republic going to war? President Kuyper says there's no plans of doing so, but that the current world environment requires our small nation to be fully prepared for any scenario. Experts say the general population of the Dutch Republic places their full trust into their President, but trust in the army is much much lower.

The Republic has also officialised the "DCH Rights Act" and granted full rights to the citizens of the Republic living on the South American islands of Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire. This move was already promised a while ago by the President, and now that it's completed, Kuyper's popularity soared all over the Republic.

In other news: The new Dutch naval fleet ordered by the Nederlandse Marine a long time ago has finally fully been revealed. It exists out of 1 aircraft carrier, 2 helicopter carrier, 2 battlecruisers, 1 (nuclear) missile cruiser, 15 destroyers, 20 frigates, 14 submarines, 2 (nuclear) submarines, 2 hospital ships and 50 support ships (troop transporters, fuel ships and supply ships). I have added no specifications for these ships because I simply cannot be bothered.
