About Alliances, In-game.

So, recently, the alliance I'm in, the GNR, recently faced an attack regarding another alliance, and now, after attempting to rebuild, I've been attacked again, and I'm currently in peace talks, attempting to gain some form of peace with that alliance so stuff like the attack on my nation could stop occuring from their alliance. Unless something happens where the GNR is actually able to construct a system that'll allow nations like me to be able to start rebuilding and really give an environment to build, I'm afraid I'm going to have to consider joining another alliance. 

Although I've decided to join House Stark, I'm not certain as to how long, or whether or not I'll be able to join, which is partially a reason why I  joined the GNR. I was inpatient regarding the House Stark Appliciation, since it was taking a bit too long for my impatient self to bare. I hope that maybe some of the higher ups in HS see this bulletin so I can really start getting the application process ready, but until that happens, I do have to consider other options, cause in PnW, the strong get stronger, the weak get weaker, and unfortunately for me, I'm going down the "weak get weaker" path of things, but I really don't want to get weaker. I want to become stronger!

This is kind of a rant bulletin, but I would like to know some other options I can have to ultimately be able to mostly have a peaceful time reconstructing my nation. I know that attacks on my nation are eventually going to happen at some point, but I would rather have something to be able to limit that amount, than to have myself be like a turtle when it's upside-down.

EDIT: I've decided to apply to the High Table, as they've offered me peace to join their alliance. They've gave out some pretty good info about their alliance, and judging from the fact that they were able to annihilate me and the GNR when I was in the GNR, I think they have a plan or something that's amazing for development, which is vital to me regarding development as a nation, and as a whole.
