The Passing of New Laws. | Dutch Lawmaking.

A few new laws proposed by President Kuyper have been passed through the 2nd and 1st chamber. This means they can officially be put into effect. I will dedicate this bulletin to explaining these new laws and the effect they will have on the future of the 2nd Republic of the Netherlands.

The Verbouwingswet: 

The Verbouwingswet is a law that allows the next step in towards the "Build Utopia" policy instated by President Kuyper. It allows the Dutch government to seize land frpm people in return for a fair payment. This law is neccesary because we will slowly change the cities to hypermodern state of the art metropoles.

The Wapenwet:

The Wapenwet is a law that allows the government to spend a specific percentage on tax money on aqquiring both new and existing weapons. Defense of the country should be the main priority of this government because the 1st republic was ended by foreign powers. 

The Vreemdelingenwet:

The Vreemdelingenwet is the Dutch government's policy on foreigners and border defense. It dictates that no foreigner can stay in the Republic without a full background check and a calculation of how much of a threat the person forms to the Dutch way of life. Uchamans are banned from entering the Dutch Republic under any circumstance and can be executed without trial upon entry.

These are the most important of new laws passed. They will go into effect on the first of the new year. Lang Leve de Republiek.
