GBN-           Wednesday, the leader of The Nationalist Freedom Party (NFP), was arrested on charges of conspiring to commit a coup against the government. Igor Yetslev, who has lead the NFP since 2080, has been a controversial figure due to his extreme-right position on public matters, and in his presence on social media. This became publicly known when the figure was suspended from the social media site Orbisbook.

Yetslev, along with other conspirators, were arrested peacefully and without violence or resistance. Yetslev admitted to national investigative forces in the presence of his attorney the conspiracy. The leader of the NFP told investigators that the conspirators had planned to first storm key government buildings in the capital with smuggled firearms from Finland and Russia.

According to a spokesman of investigators, they were first made aware of the plot when a letter was sent to the wrong address, allowing investigators to find and collect enough evidence to petition a criminal judge for a wiretapping and non-notifying search warrant, which was granted.

Yetslev and other conspirators are set to go to a court hearing tomorrow, where the charges will be read, and the defendants will be transported to The Sütheim metropolitan jail.
