Following liberation of Japanese homeland, reports of sporadic Imperialist resistance prompts high alert, authorities say.
As the liberation of the Japanese homeland has officially concluded, sporadic Imperialist resistance has been reported by villagers from the mountain regions of the nation, mostly from the sparsely populated home island of Hokkaido. Imperialist resistance was spotted in multiple towns and villages across the island, pillaging for crops and tools.
Authorities have increased presence of national forces in the area, declaring a temporary martial law to slowly root out the resistance and to finish off the last remnants on the homeland.
In other news, the National Diet has signed a proposed reconstruction plan into law, beginning reconstruction of national highways and railways that were damaged during the fighting.
