Free People of North America submit early 'Tenative List'. Ratify World Heritage Convention

Special Rapponteur accepts invitation to visit sites of importance

The Special Rapponteur of the Bureau to the World Heritage Committee accepted an invitation from the leader of the Free People of North America to send a delegation to investigate that nations landmarks for inclusion upon the World Heritage List.

The Oceanic Domain of ANZAC acting in its role as Rapponteur to the Bureau send a fact finding team of relevent experts in their field from Convention Committee members.

There were only three sites submitted by the Free People of North America on their 'Tenative List'. 

 

New America has a emassive beautiful park, with statues of heroic figures from our history. 

In the City of Liberty, there is a statue of liberty basically identical to the one that is currently up in real life. This symbolizes the          hope that our nation brings to people and the promise of Liberty 

Freedomia has many public spaces such as libraries that are built on the mountain side so you can get a beautiful view of the            ocean. The mountains name is Mt. ZeFroncia, and has been a popular place for our citizens to go to during the winter due to              it's beauty 

 

The World Heritage Committee also noted that the nation of Free People of North American under the wise leadership of its government had ratified the World Heritage Convention. It took note of the current management of land marks and important site in their nation and had full confidence that they could meet their obligations under the Convention for sites chosen for listing. It was also suggested that the Free People of North America seek a position on the Bureau or Committee so they may have input into the operations of the World Heritage Fund.

 

Chosen from amongst the sites put forward were 2 of the 3. It is hoped that this nation may later add other sites to its Tenative List

It is hoped other nations will join and follow the example of the Free Peoples of North America in valuing and protecting important cultural and natural sites and landmarks to be held in trust against future generations. 

The objectives of UNESCO's World Heritage Convention are ambitious and far-reaching: to ensure the protection of endangered cultural and natural resources, to enhance sustainable development primarily through heritage tourism, and, ultimately, to fulfill UNESCO's “unique mandate”
