The Premierminister und the Kaiserliches Parlament unveil plans for the first FTL space craft

What happend in Parlament?

While Terra, more commonly known outside of Texas as Orbis, is a planet that has been the cradle for our civilizations, the Premierminister und the Kaiserliches Parlament has called upon one of our military branches, specifically the Deutscher Texaner Luftwaffe und Weltraumkraft (more commonly known as the Kaiser's Luftwaffe und Weltraumkraft) which for our English readers out there is our main Air and Space Force in the Military,  to design the first of our spacecraft in preparation for the creation of the HSD (Houston Spacedock) project. What was created was the DRSM-100 Bismarck concept and the first prototype plans were presented to Parlament just last week. A vote was called for and it passed with flying colors and the Kaiser-bot signed its approval the next day. We have hope that in the coming decade we will see the creation and manufacturing of this ship across the empire in order to protect the liberties we hold so dear to our hearts.

What does the name mean?

The name DRSM-100 Bismarck can be broken into three parts. Firstly, the DRSM part, DRSM stands for Das Raumschiff seiner Majestät which means His Majesty's Starship in English, this is an Imperial nation what can you expect. Second, the -100 part, this part is pretty self-explanatory if you follow an ancient tv show called [REDACTED DUE TO COPYRIGHT ISSUES IDK IF WE ARE ALLOWED TO REFERENCE TV SHOWS HERE THAT ACTUALLY EXIST] which used the numbering scheme for its first series AABB in which (AA) class number and (BB) manufacturing number which makes it very similar to the numbering system for these spaceships where 1 is the class number and 00 is the manufacturing number. Third, the Bismarck part, this part is also pretty self-explanatory but this specific name is special as this is also the name for this class of spaceship.

So what?

If you're asking yourself this question you are probably in your right mind. So what if the Empire has decided to make this ship? We are a long way from the first extraplanetary colonies why should we care about this? Well, it's because it's the first time we've actually seen our government actually follow the national motto about looking forward. And, this is the first time we've shown the world what we backwater Texans are capable of when we put our minds together. Dear Readers, I know that I'm personally excited to see what the coming years are going to look like for the nation in the terms of interstellar exploration.
