New Virus

On 22nd of January, a plane containing 200 passengers from Antarctica was stopped over South Irelandic airspace was later confirmed to be carrying a covid varient, Virus X.

As of now, only 620 people have been exposed and are isolating in a facility off the border of Diver. Currently, only 10 people have died. Anyone in contact with an infected person is to isolate immediately.

Efforts to reduce infections rate has lead to Boris Jonathan has made new restrictions, listed below:

• Schools are to close and move to home schooling.
• Face masks are now mandatory in shops and public transport.
• All unnecessary shops will close
• A limit of 6 people can mix in a household 
• People should stay 4 metres away from people
• All positive cases are to isolate for 27 days 

These rules will come into effect on the 26th of January.

Scientists are believed to have found an effective vaccine offering protection, all people aged 50+ and vulnerable people are to get their vaccine for their own sake.
