Missiles


Missiles are ranged military units that are built using the Missile Launch Pad national project instead of a city improvement like most other military units. Because of their relative ineffectiveness in conventional warfare in Politics and War they are often used as the last resort. They can target a specific type of improvements which can be a slight edge over other options for you or just another feature depending on what you are using them for.

Missiles are launched with 8 MAPs and you can choose the city and improvements category you want to target. Missiles have a 100% chance of destroying two improvements upon a successful hit and some infrastructure in the targeted city, capped at 300. Enemies with the Iron Dome national project will have a 30% chance of shooting down your launched missiles and they will only lose one improvement if they get hit by a missile.

Each missile costs $150k, 100 aluminum, 75 gasoline and 75 munitions to build. There is virtually no limit on how many missiles you can have at one point but you can only build two per day by default or three per day with the Space Program national project.

Missiles cost $21k per day each in peacetime and $31.5k per day in wartime.

Missiles do not require resources to be launched.
