Power Plants: Introduction

Power plants are how you power your city. You can build as many power plants as you want.
Many plants require resources to function, and some make pollution. However, without power, your city may not function properly.

Raw Improvements: Introduction

Raw Resources are things your nation can produce directly, without any power needed. These are the base elements of manufactured goods. Generally, you can only build ten Mines per city as a maximum. There are two exceptions: Food and Uranium — you can have up to twenty Farms per city and you can have up to five Uranium Mines per city.
Raw Improvements also have a stacking bonus; the more of one type of mine you have, the more of that resource you make, with a maximum of a 50% bonus. Raw Resources differ based on continent. Below is a chart of which resources you can produce, depending on the continent.

Manufacturing Improvements: Introduction

Manufacturing Improvements produce Manufactured Resources from Raw Resources. They require power to function, and are much more profitable than raw resources due to the increased output. However, they produce a lot of pollution, so watch out!
Manufacturing Improvements are offered regardless of continent, and you can have a maximum of 5 of each type of Manufactured Improvement per city.

Like Raw Improvements, these also have a stacking bonus, with a maximum of 50%.

Civil Improvements: Introduction

Civil Improvements affect certain statistics of your city and as a whole, make life better for your citizens. All but the Police Station reduce disease, either directly or inadvertently through reducing pollution.

As you reduce pollution, disease decreases, but if you go below 0 pollution, reducing pollution further won’t have an effect on disease.

Commerce Improvements: Introduction

Commerce Improvements increase the commerce percentage of your nation, which allows you to make more money. With a high disease, this will be less effective.

Military Improvements: Introduction

Military Improvements allow you to build units for your nation. They create space, and the more you have, the more units you’ll be able to build. Most alliances have a Minimum Military Requirement (MMR) based off of these improvements, usually formatted as follows:

  • # of barracks/# of factories/# of planes/# of drydocks
  • For example, full military improvements would be 5/5/5/3 or 5553.
