Ground battles are attacks done with your ground units. This is the only attack type that involves 2 different military units, soldiers and tanks. This is also the only attack type that gets you cash loot (no resources) with each attack depending on certain factors.

To launch a successful ground attack you need at least 50 soldiers, although it is highly discouraged to use only 50 soldiers since in most cases it will cause an Utter Failure because of enemy population resistance, another feature unique to this attack type where attacking forces also have to face resistance from population, the effect/impact of the resistance is proportional to nation’s population.

This attack costs 3 Military Action Points (MAPs) to execute.

An Immense Triumph with ground reduces enemy resistance by 10, gets you ground control allowing you to destroy enemy aircraft in subsequent ground attacks, and also gives you a 10% chance of destroying enemy improvement. A Moderate Success reduces enemy resistance by 7 and a Pyrrhic Victory reduces it by 4.
