A Blockade is initiated by getting an Immense Triumph in a naval attack. Unlike ground control and air superiority, a blockade does not directly affect wars, however, its indirect effects still make it a crucial part of warfare in Politics and War.
A nation with a blockade loses its ability to trade on market and make transactions with an alliance bank, this is useful when you want to stop your enemy from restocking supplies and continuing their war efforts.
A blockaded nation can still redeem a few credits for cash and resources for their nation and will still be able to make alliance to alliance and alliance to other nations transactions if they have the permissions in their alliance. If the blockaded nation does not have multiple blockades on them by different nations, they can also trade with the one nation holding the blockade.
