History: The roots of Vezechia can be traced back to 1947, after a coup d’état in Brazil. During World War II, Brazil began to fight Argentina, believing it was stockpiling illegal weapons, and the battle between the two countries escalated quickly, killing millions. During the war, a group of Argentine supporters in Brazil tried three times to coup the president, each time failing, but on the fourth try they succeeded. Brazil was now a part of the newly-formed Argentine Empire, which has soon conquered Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and later took control of the whole of South America. In 2008, the empire began to look outwards again, and it expanded into Central America and the Caribbean. After taking various island territories, it began to move across the South Atlantic, and eventually there were hundreds of thousands of soldiers landing in Angola. The UNSC declared a state of emergency, and a coalition of armies travelled to Angola to defeat the Argentines. These defeats were followed by more in the Americas, until finally in 2017 the empire was only alive in Argentina and Brazil. In 2019, an interior attack caused the official fall of the Argentine empire - however, there were still some believers in the empire who formed a small nation inside the new nation of Grand Argentina, which was called Vezechia. Officially a monarchy, the king was deposed after several months, and President Carmen Montgomery became the dictator of the small area in April 2020. However, in June 2024, Montgomery decided to transform her (quite obviously) corrupt government into an oligarchy, and now rules as the Grand Duchess, powered by her family fortune, which involves trillions of francs of oil, gas and gold money.
