History: Founded by the first king, Kalapodos I, who liberated his people from the khanate of the black horde in 1669, after a cruel war of 9 years, he was crowned king of arcadia, he then went in a series of conquest know today as the pacification wars, he expanded the kingdom to a great extent, forming a trade based economy, his rule continued until the year 1707 when he died from a heart attack in his room.

His son Philip and his daughter Ekaterina fought over who would get the crown but, in a twist of events, in the battle of Quersk an arrow impaled his eye and died in the moment, with no one to oppose her he started a series of reforms that took the kingdom from a semi-medieval trade based economy to a powerhouse of the region, it then started the age of the lights, the power was heavily concentrated on the hands of Ekaterina, who was the representation of Enlighted absolutism, his reforms made Arcadia the country that it is now. Her biggest achievement was to made reforms and to crown herself Tsarina.

In 1786 after 72 years of reign she died and was succeeded by his son Kalapodos II, the soldier, he started a series of reforms that took the underfunded army to one of the most powerful in Europe, the army by the year 1786 the army size was of 11,000 men, by the year 1800 it was 110,000,with this army he then started a series of campaigns against the barbaric hordes, his reign went very poorly on the social and economic side, the state entered in bankruptcy 7 times during his reign and the massive army was a huge chunk of the budget, he was extremely conservative and even went as far to remove some of the reforms that Sofia made. His biggest achievement was to finally destroy the hordes and they were practically insignificant by the year 1808

After 32 years of reign he was succeed by his only son Kalapodos III in 1818, who was a reformist, brought back a lot of the reforms and took the country to the industrial age, by 1818 the GDP was roughly of 2,000,000 Arcadian liras, by the end of his reign it was near 100,000,000.

During his reign of 63 years the country became a industrial powerhouse with its giant steel industry, its enormous coal, iron and lead mines, it became a giant exporter, the country never really entered the colonial race but it was highly advanced for the time, by 1881 the tsar had died and the country fell into chaos, civil war started that lasted for 7 years, his niece Sofia, was supported by the conservatives, and the other side, proposed the establishment of a republic, the country was devastated, the progress was practically reversed and the economy was plummeting, by 1888, Sofia fled to the Caucasus Kingdoms, she lived there for 20 years, during that time a Republic was established, it had a very corrupt management, the workers rose in a revolt that lasted practically 10 years, the people were nostalgic and wanted a change to the past, in 1909, Sofia was called by the conservatives and even the liberalist party, a assembly was called, 72 votes in favor, 28 opposed, the country returned to the past.

However, the Tsarina had to make concessions, she no longer hold an absolute power, she was restricted to the parliament, but she still had the final word in almost everything, except from the judicial power, which is completely autonomous.

Her reign was marked by the war and the economic problems, the economy didn't even reach pre war levels until the 1930s. Arcadia joined the central powers, during the first world war it helped mostly in Romania, after they lost the war Russia took a lot of land and ended in its modern borders. During the second world war they joined the allies, but in late 1944, so it didn't have much participation. Sofia died in 1962 and was succeed by Ekaterina II, his daughter, reigned until 2009.

Arcadia joined the western block during the cold war, but it wasn't very important at this point of history, during the 2000s joined the war against terror, and there hasn't been any major historic points recently, other than the recent economic resurgement.
