The Indigenous Social Republic is a Confederation of Native American tribes, loosely United in their shared goal of liberating themselves from the oppression of the white man. Their government is Libertarian in nature, seeking to stay as uninvolved with the personal lives of its citizens. Still, it is firmly left-wing economically, having extensive Universal Healthcare, Education, and welfare programs, often seen as direct opposition to the more free-market-orientated West. In terms of foreign policy, they seek military and economic aid from any nation that supports their liberation struggle. Likewise, they seek to arm/aid like-minded nations who seek to undo the oppression so common in the nations run by the White Devil.

The current government of the ISR consists of the Grand Tribal Council (GTC), a unicameral body of 500 Councilmen/women, with the Head of State and Government being the High Chairman, currently Povryan of the NPLP. The current ruling party is the Native People's Liberation Party (NPLP), a Big Tent party dedicated to freeing native people from the White Devil and protecting the ISR's extensive welfare programs. They are in a coalition with the Indigenous Socialist Party (ISP), the Protect Mother Earth Party (PMEP), and the First People's Party (FPP). The official opposition consists of the Indigenous Democratic Party (IDP), the Indigenous Constitutional Republican Party (ICRP), and the Independents (IND), known as the "Establishment Coalition". Before elections in March of 2098, the Establishment held power from the Republic's formation in 2090. The IDP and ICRP attempted to open up the economy to foreign investors, and began a process of detente with the West and America. The Establishment soon met its end at the hands of so-called 'Native Populism', a new powerful force within the politics of the ISR. The next elections will be in March of 2100.
