History: Many moons ago, this country was part of an ancient civilisation known as ‘The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’ it is unknown which part of this country Jobostia was in; although many people speculate that it was part of an ancient country within the United Kingdom known as ‘Scotland’. But one fatal day, disaster struck. The tectonic plate upon which the UK had lain split, something even the best scientists couldn’t predict. It caused Great Britain to split into two parts of land, but leaving the neighbouring island of Ireland intact. Due to the damage costs, amount of casualties and devastation caused to the land, The UK fell into a period of Great Depression and, in order for the Government to pay for the repair and give financial support to the families of victims, they heavily increased taxes, strengthening the depression. A rebellion occurred, causing the Government and the once noble and beautiful country of the UK to fall. The two islands were then split into different countries, the upper one being Jobostia. This nation is famous for encouraging its citizens to have an athiest attitude, favouring science over religion- however, there is still freedom of religion as religion is only discouraged, not banned. This athiest attitude contrasts to the former country of the UK, which was heavily Christian.
