515 years ago the “republic of north Sicily” was established, which occupied only the extreme north Sicily, 5 years later the first military force was born, “republican guards”, but as time went, instability and fear bought the republic at a all-time low power, and the general used it to coup the republic and won. This was 120 years ago
The monarchy began as “kingdom of north Sicily”, at that time it occupied only few parts of north Sicily and, what they called it, “continental Sicily”, which was Calabria.
After 3 succession of the king, the new and current king established an aggressive politicy after selling the territories of "continental Sicily", which were used for military fundings.
On 25th September 2098 a military campaign to retake “continental Sicily” was successful, this date is the start of a greater Sicily than ever. |

The armed forces are older than the nation itself, they were established by the republic of the “republic of north Sicily”, which was 510 years ago.
After the republic was weaken by instability, a coup occurred that overtrown the republic and enstablished a monarchy which was lead by a military leader; in the early days of the monarchy, the military was the second most important authority right below the King himself, which has caused a power-hungry military leader and the possibility of a military coup.
Today, the military has been given less authority, now being below the king. The generals have been described as "trust-worthy" by the king, and the risk of coups have been shrunk down. |
