History: PERSIAN EMPIRE (400 - 340 a.C)

Arachosia or Harauvatis was an sapatry that preceed Beistum.

The region were culturally and economically oppressed by central government due to resistence to assimilate Persian culture.

INDEPENDENCE AND MONARCH (338 - 334 a.C)

When the Persian Empire began to crumble, Beistum declared their independence with the help of their local military forces and the support of their people.

The Pahlavi family was chosen to rule the country by other wealthy families and the people.

This was because they were the main supporters of the independence movement, both through their actions and financial contributions.

Beistum was chosen as the new country's name because of the mountain with the same name.

FIRST INDEPENDENCE WAR (333 - 331 a.C)

Darius III sent 34.000 soldiers to reconquer Beistum. Despite winning every battles at west, his army lost the main battle near to Himalayas.

Omyan Mirza I, first Sultan of Beistum, hide half of his army in a secret cave. After battle started, the Persian army was surprised with an unexpected attack on the right flank.

After this defeat, the rest of enemies were expelled from the territory.

ISLAMIC INVASION AND YELLOW FLOWERS MOVEMENT (210 - 700 a.D)

The region was attacked by other countries after the fall of the Persian empire.

Only in 670 AD, Beistum was annexed and incorporated into the Umayyad Empire. The royal family is forced to isolate themselves in India. In the year 677 AD, Sultan Omyan I died in exile. After hearing the news, people started the Yellow Flowers Protest.

More than 70,000 people went to the capital Al-Marak to leave a yellow flower in front of the government headquarters (the flower is a symbol of the Mirza Dynasty). The protest included a prayer to the late Sultan and a request for the return of the Royal House of Pahlavi to local government, so that Sultan Omyan could also be buried in his country.

Omiyad Mirza was placed as local ruler, but demoted with the title of Emir and subordinate to the Sultan of Umayyad.

SUFISM, SILK ROAD AND SECOND INDEPENDENCE WAR (700 - 1097 a.D)

Ma'mun Kedar Naser was responsible for bringing Sufism to Beistum, with the aim of pacifying and bringing the word of Allah to the pagans.

Emir Omiyad converts to Sufism and finances missionary activities in all cities of Beistum.

700 AD, Omiyad structured the region to form part of the Silk Road.

710 AD, Omiyad's son Ayan Mirza declares war on the Umayyad Empire and resumes the title of Sultan.

In the year 713, Sultan Ayan blocked the silk route to his kingdom, preventing goods from reaching their final destination, the city of Damascus (Capital of the Umayyad Empire).

With this blockade, the Sultan created a special fleet of ships, so that goods could reach Europe, but by sea and even faster than by land. Which attracted even more wealth to the region.

The Empire sends an army in an attempt to break the blockade and re-annex the region. However, the maritime part of the route becomes more suitable for merchants, and consolidates their power, which makes the country recognized by the Tang Dynasty and Japan.

GUJARATIAN MAGADH WAR (1100 - 1150)

Sultan Ayan III creates an alliance with the Magadh Empire against the Gurajat Confederacy.

As a result of this war, Beistum gains 1/3 of the Confederacy's territory, in addition to all the riches gained in the attacks.

MEDIEVAL BEISTUM (1150 - 1500)

The medieval era was marked by a lot of centralization and religious wars.

The immigration of Shiites to Beistum was complex and disorderly. This happened because most sultans lived and opted for a "freer" government compared to others at the time.

Supported by other Shia countries, Shias residing in the country were encouraged to rebel against the Sufi Sultan.

This caused the War of the Two Moons, which was won by Beistum and increasing its considerable influence in the region.

EARLY MODERN BEISTUM (1500 - 1800)

The Modern Era brought Europeans' attention to Asia, especially oil. Despite numerous offers from the national oil company. Beistum maintained control over it.

MODERN BEISTUM (today)

In the 19th century, Beistum was already one of the leading producers of technology, steel, oil and oil products. Taking advantage of the profit coming from the National Petroleum Company, Mayaf Pahlavi began structuring the metallurgical industry in the country. This reduced the country's dependence on oil, and made the region's economy grow exponentially.
