History: The People's Appalachian Council Republic was once part of the United States of America. Communists in the city of Salem, in the U.S. state of Ohio, revolted against the U.S. government in order to bring about a communist council government. The revolution turned into a civil war that lasted three years, and resulted in about 16,000 casualties. The war ended on the seventeenth of October, 2023, but the Appalachian Council Republic was officially able to gain international independence and recognition on the twenty-seventh of November, 2023. Appalachia claims to own all of the Appalachian region of America.
