History: The History of Leponia starts with the start of rising tensions in Europe around 2030's.

At this time, the nations of NATO and Russian-aligned had no doubt that war will be inevitable and eventually started preparing necessary precautions. The History of an entity known as "Old Leponia" started in Russian-controlled protectorate of Kaliningrad. The Kaliningrad, seperated from Russian mainland over years grown to the rank of almost independent nation, influenced by both Poland and American immigrants. Despite the present Russian military, liberties in the region was the biggest in entire Russia.

January 2038. It has begun. Massive attack on Baltic countries and Suwałki gap has become reason of World War III, which very soon expanded on China and Korean Peninsula. For first few weeks from the start, the Kaliningrad was at top of all mouths of the world as mostly a starting point of war. During next few years, the region was completely devastated by aircraft bombing and drones attack.

June 2045 shall be marked the day of creation of idea of Leponia. Although still under Russian rule, the citizens residing in the region has saw the weaking grip of Russian Federation. As such, an idea of New nationality and history arrived as a result of overall desperation of the poor region. The idea of Leponia consisted the abive-nafional unity in a new nation entity which was called "Old Leponia".

March 2047 shall be marked the day of Fall. NATO and Russian Federation has depleted almost all conventional warfare resources and as an act of desperation, nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles was used in all-out attacks. Most nations has anti-nuclear defences, which resulted in less destructive biohazard danger. Still, the radioactive storms appeared and European Nations, not ready for Nuclear radioactive fallouts scenario's, started falling apart. With both Russian Federation influence gone and Polish Republic defunct Government, people around territories of Kaliningrad, eastern coast of Lithuania and Coast territories of Poland, close to the Russian border decided to establish their desired nation of Leponia. As such, on 5th of April, 2047, The Republic of Leponia has been establish on the lands of niw defunct North-eastern Poland, Russian Kaliningrad and Western lands of Lithuania.

Although overall ideas and principles of Leponian spirit was overall unity, the problem arose around the political system of a new nation. Some said that Democracy is the reason of future destiny, while others opted for the Authoritarian Regime. The self-proclaimed leader of Leponia, Mateusz Lewadzki, stated that Leponian people will be guided by "centralized rule", supported by yet-operational Banks and secretly funded by Oligarchs.

However, hope dies as last. An underground opposition, known as "Blue Torch Movement" has been formed with one goal - Abolishing dictatorship in Leponia and changing the Republic to Democratic country.

The day of shift has been marked on 25th of November, 2049 when an official coup has been staged by the Blue Torch Movement, secretly supported by the military of Leponia. Shortly after, loyalists of autocratic regime standard up and civil war began. For the next four years, Leponia has been eaten from inside by hunger, devastation and depressions.

On 12th of May, 2053, Civil War was officially ended on the side of the Blue Torch Movement. But even despite victory, the nation was in ruins. The new Transitional Government has been established to ensure democratic transition and revitalization of the Country. Wanting to forget about the past sins of the regime, in 30th of February, 2075 the country has been renamed to "New Leponia" and changed to fully democratic Parliamentary Republic.

For the next year's, New Leponia was almost at the border of Interests of the entire world, now slowly recorded by the catastrophic results of WW3.

By around July, 2094 the Republic of New Leponia, guided by a new charismatic leader, President Arthur McKeen has decided to join the democratic alliance of FSO (Federated States of Orbis) to ensure its safety and future growth.
