Bordered between Russia and Georgia, New Ossetia has a size of 46,405 square kilometers. New Ossetia lives off wars, mining and trading.The country itself is mainly covered in hilly terrains and has an overall moderate and arid climate, which has lead to a localized population, despite the number of people, which means most of them live in big cities.The country's flag consists of a tricolour, top to bottom white, red, and yellow as well as the emblem of New Ossetia, which contains a red disc featuring a Caucasian leopard with seven white mountains in the background. Around the shield, the name of the country is written in Ossetian (Республикӕ Хуссар Ирыстон) above and in Russian (Республика Южная Осетия) below.
