History: The original area of which we now know as the "Regency of East Kaiserland" was formed in 943 AB after the Solarian victory of the first Kaiserland War. The 11 Eastern and South Eastern territories that previously made up 1/4 of the Kaiserland Empire were first incorporated into a Solarian colony called "Solarian Eastern Kaiserland" before the end of the 2nd Kaiserland War (956 AB) in which East Kaiserland gained its independence and became a Crown Colony called "Republic of Kaiserland".

The newly-independent republic elected its first Major-Governor who was Mustafakil Bradii. During his 8-year-long service (he won two terms), he helped extend Solarian Imperial influence to both edges of the Kaiserland continent and kept the threat of the Kaiserland Empire at bay.

Unfortunately, by 971, considered the year of the end of the Kaiserland Cold War, Solarian Imperial control in the Syndicate Islands was challenged by the long time standing rebels who siezed the recent oil crisis to liberate the Syndicate Islands from Solarian control.

The Orange Revolution, as it is called, was successful and by February 972, only three months after the rebellion started, the Solarian's were pushed back to their Capital stronghold of Blue Island and so the Solarian rule in the Syndicate Islands was now over.

The Pläma went into hiding after that as Avalonian Mercenaries, Kiiseri Assasins and Syndicati Rebels went out to find and kill him. Thankfully, two of the Pläma's children were in East Kaiserland as the emergency went on so they were safe.

By 973, A Special council of Royal Solarian officials and East Kaiserland politicans drew up the Emergency Constitution. The constitution can be simplified as follows:

1. With the Pläma gone, the empire is in a state of crisis and so special requirements will have to be abided by.

2. The Republic of East Kaiserland will now be known as "The Regency of East Kaiserland" and the Regent (who will stay in power for as long as the Regency stays in place), shall be Johann Wolfisser. His successor is Brimakin Jot.

3. Until the Pläma returns or one of his children turns 24, the Regency shall remain.

4. Once the conditions for the end of the Regency have been met, new elections will take place, the old constitution will be held as the most powerful and the new Pläma shall be put back as ruler of the Solarian Empire.

Now, we wait and endure until the new monarch arrives.

Geography
Continent: Europe
Land Area: 7,885.77 sq. km
Terrain: Going from North to South; the North of E. Kaiserland is low-lying and consists mainly of fertile floodplains from The Broken River and the Riverrsamapa. Meanwhile upstream of the Broken River (more south), we can find mountainous terrain difficult to traverse from which the Broken River finds its source. On the eastern coast, it also is quite rocky however its more craggy rather than mountainous as the coast brushes up with the Syndicate Sea. Porto ka sunä is also found here.

Within the middle band of E. Kaiserland, the land becomes flatter and more forested. Mt. Werkraissner, the highest peak in the entire country, is found within the western patch of this band as well. Notable towns/cities are:

In the South-East corner of Kaiserland, the land gently goes off into a depression which is where you can find the lowest point in E. Kaiserland: Le Sproj (-199 meters below Sea level). In the southern coast, you can find the regional capital Uratinumösch. The Violet lake is also located in the South-East just west of Le Sproj.

The final region of E. Kaiserland (as well as the least inhabited) is the South-West. The region itself is split into 3 biome zones:
The Forest Tundra
The Polar Desert
The Coastal Dry-Zones

The Coastal Dry-Zones are found along the coast as the name suggests and are special from the Polar desert biome (which is also on the coast) as winds from the North and East bring warm currents warming up the area by around 7 degrees celcius compared the other zones. Whilst seemingly small, this difference in temperature allows for human colonisation, limited agriculture and a somewhat comfortable average summer temperature of 7 degrees.

The Forest Tundra meanwhile is found mainly in the North where the terrain is higher and its colder. The region is heavily forested by Birch trees which block colonisation or resource-consolidation in its reach.

Finally, The Polar Desert biome. It's the biggest biome within the South-West and like the name sounds, its a dead, dry, desolate cold desert where average summer temperatures are -4 degrees celcius. Winter temperatures are normally -20 and sunlight only comes for 5 hours a day. The Southern coast of the region is also home to Base-α and Base-Γ (Alpha, Gamma) which are Solarian military bases bordering The People's Republic of Southern Kaiserland and The Free Solarian Anarchist Territories. Base's Beta, Delta, Sigma, Zeta, Timewatch and Epsilon are also located in the desert but they are ruins and not operated anymore after the Battle of Base-Γ in the 2nd Kaiserland War between Solarian, Solarian Anarchist and Imperial Kaiserland forces.
