History: ---Chapter 1: The Independence---

Sharaf gained independence from another empire following its collapse. Sharaf established an Absolute Monarchy as its first form of government, with this came the Armed Forces of the Sharaf Kingdom. Its first King was named Fairouz Al-Fadel, also nicknamed Fairouz the Victorious, the name was given to him for his military prowess, conquering neighboring lands. During King Fairouz's reign was considered the golden age of the Sharaf Kingdom. After King Fairouz, came King Asad, also nicknamed Asad the Peaceful. During King Asad's reign, the kingdom was remained at peace and avoided wars. After King Asad, came King Amer, also nicknamed Amer the Merciless. Under King Amer's reign, many civilians were arrested and tortured for accusations made against them. This is also the start of Sharaf's economical decline. After a few years of King Amer's reign, the people of the kingdom started a revolution which resulted in the abdication of King Amer.

---Chapter 2: The New Republic---

With King Amer's abdication, the people established a new government, a constitutional republic. With Sharaf's economy still on decline, the new government, with the new President Bashir Al-Idrees, tried to regain a stable economy but failed.

---Chapter 3: The War---

Many years and presidents passed, the weakened Sharaf Republic went to war as the underdogs, they were fighting a losing war but the tide of the war was turned because of General Muhannad Al-Namir's victory in the very decisive Battle of Alsalam walwahda which resulted in Sharaf Republic winning the war and General Muhannad Al-Namir was regarded as a hero.

---Chapter 4: The New Beginning---

A few years after the war, Sharaf decided to bring back the monarchy but still keep the constitution making them a constitutional monarchy. It was Muhannad Al-Namir whom succeeded the new throne. With the leadership of King Muhannad and new Prime Minister Mahmud, Sharaf successfully brought up its economy. 2 years have passed and Sharaf regained its former glory. After a few more years, came the death of King Muhannad.

---Chapter 5: The Coup---

Following King Muhannad's death and King Amer II's coronation. The nation went through a military coup. The military succeeded and a dictatorship was established, with its dictator as Qasim Al-Si, under his leadership, the nation's economy declined once more, upsetting the population.

---Chapter 6: The Great Revolution---

After a few generations of the dictatorship, a rebel group was established against the dictatorship government. The rebel group grew large and started a revolution, at first the rebels were losing but it soon changed with Othman Al-Namir's great tactics which resulted in numerous victories. The revolution saw many people killed and resulted to the end of the dictatorship government.

---Chapter 7: The Restoration---

After the revolution, the constitutional monarchy was brought up once more and Othman Al-Namir, like his ancestor Muhannad Al Namir, succeeded the throne. Him and the new Prime Minister managed to grow the economy and restore the nation's former glory which earned him the nickname, Othman the Saviour.

---Chapter 7: Battle for the holy land---

With the Jews arriving in the arabic region, the battle between the Jew and Muslim nations started, this includes the Kingdom of Sharaf. The military of Sharaf was immediately focused upon by King Othman and the Government, the military budget was increased for war preparation. Soon, the Jews attacked and the first battle sparked. After a series of battle, the Muslims won. (Note: For lore purposes only.)

---Chapter 8: The Drug War---
A few generations passed and Achraf Al-Namir is now the King and with the new Prime Minister Akhmed Al-Ehsan, is leading the Sharaf Kingdom. Many cartels has risen which gave the government a huge problem. These cartels have grown larger over the years and all of them combined can compete with the Sharaf Military, with the Al-Majed Cartel being the strongest cartel which can compete with the police force within the country. As the police force is having a hard time with handling the cartels, the military joined in to help remove these drug cartels. Currently, the cartels are getting weaker and weaker but still has power with in certain regions in the country. The Jawad region (Northeast region) having the most cartel bases.

---Chapter 9: The Civil War---
A communist insurgency started in the Akhmani region. The communist and the army fought. It was the communist to strike first but after their offensive, the army, with the help of the Air Force struck many bases of the communist. The communist put Alsalam Walwahda under siege and in the end, the communist won.

---Chapter 10: Communist Leadership | The Present---
Under the communist republic, they removed the cartels from the country and is working to improve the country's economy.

Navy / Marine Corps - The second oldest service in the Sharaf military, the Navy protects Sharaf at sea. Apart from the Navy, a component of the Department of the Naval Forces, the Marine Corps was established 50 years after the Navy was founded and maintains amphibious and ground units for contingency and combat operations.

Air Force - Youngest service of the Sharaf military. Primarily responsible for the conduct of air warfare. The air force has the missions of gaining control of the air, supporting surface forces (as by bombing and strafing), and accomplishing strategic-bombing objectives.

Sharaf Army Special Operations Group. (Nickname: Desert Eagles) - specializing in offensive raids, demolitions, search and rescue, and counterterrorism.

Navy - Naval Special Operations Regiment. (Nickname: Fahad's Trident) - specializing on direct raids, assaults on enemy targets and reconnaissance.

Marine Corps - Marine Security and Escort Group. - responsible for the security of the ship and its crew by conducting offensive and defensive combat during boarding actions and defending the ship's officers from mutiny
