History: Before the current emperor was elected into power, Cassius, the emperor's younger sibling, had staged a coup placing himself onto the throne and Amicus into the Palace dungeons. Following the coup multiple riots broke out in many cities across the Adastran Empire, protesting the total consolidation of power.
However Cassius was used as a facade, Cato, who was acting emperor after the previous emperor had died in a ship crash, had actually taken control.

After being freed from the dungeons, Amicus would later regain the throne and Cato would be executed for treason. Cassius would be allowed to become the health minister, but would be under constant guard.
