Terrain: Cascadia's terrain is made up two large mountain ranges known as the "Northern Ranges" and "Southern Ranges" respectively, split between a central valley called the "Presidian Split". This is where the capital "Presidia" is located. To the north and south the mountain ranges continue. To the east and west are the "Great Plains", a set of large permanently frozen ice and rock sheets on either side of the mountain ranges.

Lowest Valley: Presidian Split, -156 meters
Climate: The climate is extremely harsh in Cascadia, the temperature during "summer" months means around -20℃ to -30℃ and during the "winter" months temperatures can plummet to below -60℃. Naturally this means it does not rain in Cascadia, but snows. This also means that storms can be particularly harsh and Cascadian constructions have to equate for all these factors. Because Cascadia is located on the south pole it also has the unique problem of it having a 6 month long night, this is when its considered winter here.

History: Following the total destruction of the Cascadian Armed Forces in late 1998, the Cascadian Government resorted to conscription to supplement for the losses while a more permanent solution was worked on. In 1999 the construction of a cloning facility inside Mt. Kamino was began in secret and in 2010 the first batch of clone troopers was completed and were rapidly integrated into the Royal Cascadian Armed Forces. With a new batch ready every year since, non-clone Cascadians have been able to fill vital roles in civilian industries and allowed the country to thrive. Mandatory enlistment remains however to ensure the populace is capable to defend themselves should the time come.
