The Most Holy and Ancient Great Maple Empire, known outside as the Great Maple Empire or the GME, was created in 3475 BCE, when a golden moose, four thousand Metres tall, arrived from the heavens, and exploded into a ball of pure goodness and energy, in what was once southeastern Canada. The descendent of this moose, Angrymoose, has ruled the glorious nation and its people ever since. Originally named the Holy Libertarian Communist Empire and known outisde as the Libertarian Commie Empire, Angrymoose chose in the year 2023 to hold a vote among the populous for a new name, and this was the one among them chosen as the true best of them all. |
