History: The precursor nation to the Holy State of Karvia was founded on the 6th of February, 2074.
The nation was founded within the Eurasian Steppe by a band of devout Jongism refugee's hailing from the fallen 3rd Karvian Republic.
The nation was originally founded as the Bokarvian Republic, acting as a spiritual continuation of the 3rd Karvian Republic which fell during the Duck Hunt in 2050. Bokarvia imitated the Karvian executive, legislative and judicial systems in its government and reappropriated the Karvian Constitution for its own usage. during this period the cities of Karveesta, Dublof and Breva were founded, with Karveesta acting as the administrative capital of the nation. Dublof housed the military leadership and Breva acted as the primary trade city for the nation. During this period the newly elected president Jer Matis began the process to join The Enterpri$e, an alliance which the previous Karvian Republic had been apart of and which many in the new government feared would lead the nation down the same path of destruction as before. This choice would lead to a rift forming between the new republican government and the traditionalists of the military alongside Jer Mitas. This rift would eventually culminate in a popular revolution overthrowing the Bokarvian republican government, with a primary figurehead of the revolution being an illegitimate son of the 3rd Karvian Republics' president Sea Jong Ubaru IV, henceforth being known as Sea Jong Ubaru V. The revolution would be spearheaded by Jer Mitas and the commanders of the Bokarvian Militia, resulting in the decapitation of the republican leadership and leading to the reformation of the Bokarvian Republic into the Holy State of Bokarvia. This event would come to be known as the Holy Revolution.
In the following years, the nation would be accepted into The Enterpri$e and found the cities of Republia and Rachtze whilst slowly expanding the powers of the Church of the Jong
A global war would take place 3 years after the Holy Revolution, during which Bokarvia expanded its city count to 11 to assist with the war effort. This global war would lead to an untold number of Bokarvians losing their lives and immense damage to the nation as a whole, with each of the newly built cities being demolished and their populations being reincorporated into the original five cities due to the extensive damage sustained. During the wartime period discontent brewed within the populace as the Church of the Jong grew increasingly corrupt and inefficient, resulting in wartime rations becoming smaller and smaller until eventually the food supply ran out. This resulted in a general revolt in the populace as food riots overtook cities and the military openly dissented. Among this dissent was the disenfranchised child of SJU V, whom had been delegated to a logistical position during the war. This general revolt would result in a coup d'état and the ascension of Sea Jong Ubaru VI to leadership of the nation after an unfortunate accident involving a fallen bannister and an open window killed Sea Jong Ubaru V.
The nation was subsequently restructured into The Holy State of Karvia and all democratic functions of the government were abolished in favor of a solely religious system after a vote of 49-3 in the federal-level legislature.
The Church of the Jong was the primary target of the revolt, resulting in the uprooting of its position and the replacing of it with the new Cult of the Ubaru. The religious figurehead of the Cult of the Ubaru is Sea Jong Ubaru VIThe cult immediately set upon the integration of the Karvian Guard into the structure of the cult, wholly absorbing the force soon after and establishing it as a de-facto wing of the cult.

Terrain: Karvia lies in the center of the Eurasian Steppe and as such the entire country lies on a flat plain dominated by grasslands and the occasional shrubland. The river Matis is the defining geographic feature in the heart of Karvia and acts as the nations lifeline and connection to the world, with the cities of Karveesta, Dublof and Breva being founded on the river.
To the west of the central plain the city of Republia lies, acting as the administrative capital of both the Cult of the Ubaru and the Karvian Armed Forces.
In the eastern reach of the nation, in the epicenter of an ancient sinkhole lies the city of Rachtze. The city specializes in heavy industry and mining, all of which is helped by the location of the city within the sinkhole.
