This declaration of independence was a direct copy of the American one only with slight deviations from the wording and medium but it still outlined basic rights as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. From that day up until March 3rd, 2028, Texas used a provisional government but on that day in 2028, the Constitution of the United Provinces of Texas was put into use. In 2045, UPT conquered their old territorial claims. By 2070 though, the cracks started to show through and when the 2072 elections came, they became very controversial. By mid-June 2073, all of the UPT descended into anarchy and Groossertexas declared independence intending to restore order in the nation and elevate scientific and astronomical discovery for all of Texas.
