For centuries, the people of Primar were oppressed by the Jeep dynasty, from the nation of Peja. Eventually, our Overlord Primal led the now infamous Peej Revolution to liberate Primar from Jeep control, seizing power over Primar's throne and overseeing the growth of the newly independent nation. While Primal is the undying and eternal Overlord, he employs several high-ranking aides to ensure that he rules as prudently and justly as possible. Primar, under the Overlord's careful eye, grew into a powerful nation on track to become a superpower. Then one day, after a golden era of leadership, the Overlord had to indefinitely abdicate his throne. The dark age of Primar followed in which the nation was ravaged by war and raiders. However, the Overlord would one day return. This triumphant victory would be known as Rebirth Day, and Tanalat would be born from the ashes of Primar. |

Tanalat’s terrain is very rocky and mountainous, giving it a good natural defense. The Cardinal River and its tributaries run throughout the nation, giving the people of Tanalat a source of water and making land invasions yet more difficult. There are two main mountain ranges in Tanalat, the Weavers and the Talons. The Talon mountains are a series of steep mountains, with the minor Falcon River snaking around them on its way down. The Weavers are more interesting though, as they create the Hawk Valley by diverging seemingly into two separate ranges. However, Tanalat geologists have confirmed that the two subranges are so geologically similar that it is best to call them the same range. Strangely, Tanalat’s deepest point is right next to its highest point. The East wall of the infamous Hawk Valley is the West slope of the more infamous Mount Sparrow. This incredible geologic formation is where the name Sparrowhawk Military Academy comes from, as the academy is built right into the mountain. |

Tanalat is in a very temperate climate zone, making it hot year-round. Additionally, especially during the summer months, it is oppressively humid. However, there is some slight variation in climate depending on which city you are currently in. Northern cities like Reven, Talonin, and Cawden can easily reach triple digit heat about half of the year, while southern cities such as Zalen, Igrabah, and Triil are a more livable temperature. In fact, every few years Triil even gets a few inches of snow. The centermost city, Tanalat City, is the most humid of all, since it's located at the bottom of a large valley. However, this has led to Tanalatian engineers inventing ingenious ways to use the large amount of water in the air to help water crops and supplement drinking water. |

The Tanalat Armada is led by a group of 5 major military leaders, making up the War Council. Promotion to the War Council is the highest position a member of the Armada can achieve, and it usually comes after a decorated career following graduation from the prestigious Sparrowhawk Military Academy. Each member of the War Council has control over a different sector of the Armada. The de facto head of the Council, Gen. Ryan "Rift" Fowler, manages the soldiers. He also has control over peacetime raiding and is the head of the Ground Forces during wartime. His right-hand man, Brig. Gen. Zachary "Cryo" Thomas, has authority over the tank divisions of the Armada. Gen. Isabel "Phoenix" Fuega is the leader of Primar's Air Force, nicknamed the Phoenix Wing. Although she is a commanding officer, she often will fly with her subordinates on dogfight and bombing missions. Adm. Anton "Riptide" Klemens commands the Armada's naval forces, called Neptune's Hand. Like Phoenix, he can often be found on his flagship aircraft carrier, the T.A.S Kingfish. The final member of the Council is [REDACTED] "Spades" [REDACTED], the head spymaster. Their exploits are legendary among the council, such as their mission to [REDACTED] where they [REDACTED], saving Cryo and Riptide. They live the most secretive life out of all the Council members. Allegedly, there are talks of opening up a sixth or seventh Council seat once Tanalat achieves Missile and Nuclear capabilities, but Primal has not made any official statements yet. |
