History:(1456-1483 “Birth of the Polisian Rus”)
The birth of the Polisian Rus was a very dark time as the leader Gregory “the terror” was a very paranoid man who would murder and brutalize anyone who he believed stood in his way, his reign lasted for 27 years during that time Gregory decided to expand and conquer in hopes to become the first tsar of all of Polis this was achieved through brutal internal police work and superior military tactics and numerical superiority little national development happened at this point economically but the military was a primary focus for Gregory which saw many advancements and achievements in military might and capabilities and during this time it is believed the idea of military culture for polis (1468-present) and has inspired many Polisian people to rise and hear the call of polis whenever necessary under the quote “Defend the Motherland!” After Gregory passed the nation held strong in the beliefs and ways he left behind to the surprise and dismay of nations who feared the Rus expecting the nation to fall into shambles so they could pick off and take what remained but that was a pipe dream never to come to fruition.
(1484-1513 “The Rise of Romanov”)
After the death of Tsar Gregory, a new name rose to the challenge “Romanov” A house that will rule for almost the rest of Polis’s history going fourth (1484-1917, 1947-present) the beginning of their rise saw many improvements made within the nation finding a balance point that kept the military ahead of those who would seek to destroy polis and increased the living quality for the people of polis exponentially, some notable things done during this time was the introduction of new water systems, increase in trade and the construction of fortresses around the nation that could withstand assaults that would destroy bring other nations fortifications to its knees and equal rights among men and women along with a decision that would plunge polis into conflict for years to come which was the approval of gay/lesbian marriage other than these issues and major changes the nation had a steady increase in quality of life, happiness, and national security (GDP, stability, military strength)
(1513-1657 “the price of freedom”)
After gay marriage was made legal within polis nations around them were disgusted and formed a coalition to destroy polis and its peoples the tsars of polis attempted to ease the nations of the coalition for years (1520-1605) but nothing worked and war was unleashed upon polis, both sides fought fiercely few dared to come to polis aid and even close ally’s of polis turned a blind eye to the call of the motherland, polis stood alone a bloody stalemate ensued as the previously built fortifications within the polis borders were big a fierce and prevented enemies from passing which sparked a saying among fortress troops that raised morale around the nation “They shall not pass!” The stalemate ensued for 6 years before a key fortress within polis was captured and left a corridor for the capital of Moskva to be taken but the people of polis refused to let this happen as hundreds of thousands of peasants, reserve soldiers, kids, and anyone else willing to defend their home took up arms, as a result the battle of bloody mountains took place where thousands of polis militia threw themselves at the coalition army when one Polisian fell another 3 appeared to take their place and in about 3 days the coalition forces were forced to fall back to the fortress where they hoped to hold off the militia horde but the gate had been busted down in the previous siege to take it so they hastily set up fortifications and waited it was only mere hours before the horde surrounded the fortress and initiated “the siege of Brusilov fortress” the defenses held for a day before the hordes finally broke through and brutally killed the troops, within a month after this the coalition sued for peace and disbanded sealing the new Tsardom of Polis in place never to be challenged by the nations again the war lasted for 8 years (1605-1616) throughout the rest of this time period of polis they had been on a steady path not really surpassing anyone but never falling behind for all those years although after the war a 30 year long mark was left on the population, and economy having lost many people and villages destroyed with the second issue being fixed rather quickly but the population wore the Scar’s of war up until the 30 year mark when it recovered
(1657-1865 “the times of nothing”)
This long age brought upon no real changes to polis except for the deaths of tsars occasional economic increase and decrease and a few wars that were more or less border clashes or not noteworthy in what they were about or accomplished
(1865-1900 “Beginning of the Golden age of Polis”)
Polis’s new Tsar and the son of the last Tsar brought upon polis an awakening to begin an agricultural revolution to over a 25-year plan to procure resources for an industrial revolution within polis once the 25 year mark was hit a 15-year industrialization plan was put in place to ease polis into a big industrialized nation during this time infrastructure and other things were rapidly expanded along with a nationwide railway system which took 8 years to finish but made the last years of the industrialization a breeze and by the end of it polis barely resembled its old self having broken the ways of old to move into the modern era “in the name of the motherland”
(1900-1947 “Sinister Golden age of Polis ”)
At the beginning of the age the tsar who revolutionized polis’s capabilities started another leap forward with a 10 year plan industrialization expansion to further push polis into a better place for the future unfortunately he wouldn’t live to see the end passing away 6 years into the plan and deemed by the people as “Ruslan the Great” his two sons the oldest being Misha and the youngest being Ruslan II were the two heirs he left behind Misha was made king at the age of 18 while Ruslan II was only 8 at the time, Misha finished out the rest of the 10 year plan but only achieved a fraction of what was hoped for within the rest of the plan but after those 4 years he just shut down and didn’t really seem to be interested in being the tsar this lasted 6 years before a communist uprising would occur and claim his life however Ruslan II escaped having been given a tour on a USF Warship at the time the revolution had taken place (the ship was their on a diplomatic mission) they decided to evacuate Ruslan II and a few Royal Guard troops once it was known the then tsar was killed not wanting him to meet the same fate, 2 long years of bloodshed in the civil war before the communists finally won and took over polis the acting dictator of polis at the time decided to build upon what Ruslan worked on and plunged the nation into a 20 year long bloody industrialization plan killing millions in her wake, during this time Ruslan II was planning on how to take his home back from the “beasts” that killed his brother and took his home the royal guard who originally escaped with him still by his side loyal till the end, after the long industrialization the dictator went on a long purge of people and military personnel during this time ruslan and the royal guard tried to sneak into the nation but they were almost caught if they hadn’t been snatched by a resistance group who recognized the uniforms of the royal guards men they would soon find out “the last tsar” (as they called him) “has returned” years were spent building up the resistance and letting it be known the tsar has returned, then in the year 47 the revolution began but it seemed the nation had it with the dictatorship with only 30,000 people (estimated) to have stayed loyal to the dictator and the polis military also turned against them which ended the fight within months ending the reign of the communist dictator who called herself “Rodina”
But her true name was Anastasia after the quick revolution had concluded the tsar was reinstated and work was to be done
