This executive order caused several small groupings of states to secede from the union, and wage a very bloody Civil War against the United States, which after these secessions, was only made up of Washington DC, the state of New York, and Puerto Rico. The former United States lost the war.
The ending of the story was deleted buy a moderator, but needless to say, the war ended with quite an amount of testicular damage amongst the Democrat party.
