After The Hanseatic League was integrated into The Commonwealth, the United Provinces left The Commonwealth to join The Federation. History: The Oceania union formed 72 years after the collapse of the Greater Australasia Commonwealth, a Commonwealth that had expanded diplomatically and eventually militarily into East Asia before succumbing a civic revolution by intellectuals. After suffering defeats from three Peal Wars (Wars around south china sea) and unable to recover from an economic depression, the Commonwealth collapse, and the Commonwealth and the states within it fragmented.

72 years later the nation-state of Perth located in what was once known as Western Australia begun to consolidate control in western parts of Australia, forming a strategic alliance with rogue states in South Asia, Perth went to reunite the continent of Australia, Perth soon after establishing an economic union with the devastated and bankrupt failed states in what was known as New Zealand, Perth also established new political and economic control over several Pacific island states and invaded New Guinea to establish a forward base of operations to deter the waring states of what was once known as Indonesia from attacking, and raiding Perth.

Major reforms followed these events to streamline and merge the several different political and/or economic unions/relations into one grand Union, the Union of Oceania or more commonly referred as Oceania Union.
