This has been on my to-do list for a long time. I'm happy to announce that Politics and War is now offered in (almost) all languages. I didn't have each page translated (we don't have the budget for that, and it would be really hard to maintain as the game gets updated) but we are using Google's neural translation network, which is supposed to be nearly as good as a human translator. Per the service, "For example statistical translation quality for Spanish to English ranked at 6 out of 10, with 10 being a perfect translation. Human translators generally rank at 8.5 and new neural machine translations hit 8.3."
Of course, it's not going to be perfect - but the goal is to make the game more accessible to more players around the world.
If you have a language set in your browser that is not English, the game will give you a popup to ask you if you want to change languages. Otherwise, if you want to change languages there is an option in the page footer. For app users, you can go to the Account page and you will find new options for selecting a language there.
Not everything will be translated; for example all user entered content should remain untranslated (e.g. nation names, leader names, alliance names, in-game messages, nation and alliance descriptions, etc.)
I expect there will be some issues and some debugging necessary; if you run into any issues please report them on the forum in the Tech Support section or open a ticket in our Discord server in the #support channel.
