Donations have now been reset for the new month! You can now redeem up to 20 Credits for at least $1,000,000,000 directly in-game each month.

As a reminder about Donations, you can use up to 20 Credits per month on in-game bonuses like 1 Credit for $50,000,000 in-game money, 1 Credit for a set amount of Resources, 1 Credit for 100 Infrastructure, 3 Credits to reset your New City timer, and 1 Credit to reset your National Project timer. You can spend an unlimited number of Credits per month on cosmetic bonuses, like VIP, Player Ads, and Name Changes. 06/12/2025 - New Templates system

Hello everyone, the second part of the econ up is out! This is the templates upgrade, mostly suggested by @Sketchy but ive added my own features too it, here is how it works:

  • You can now save city as a template, you can do this from your city page or from the city builder page, This will be saved to your templates,
  • You can set a template as public, this allows other people to find the template on the templates page, you can filter for templates by infrastrucutre and tags,
  • you can save templates others have made from this page, you can also send links to templates (public or private) to share them,
  • Once you have saved templates, you can apply them to cities from a dropdown on your cities page, you can also use the VIP only mass-templater, which allows you to apply it to a subset of cities or all of your cities,

05/07/2025 - Military Update and Rebalance

Military Update

We have just released a new military update focusing on economic costs, the utility of ships, and the ability to recover in longer alliance wars.

Military Research

Military Research is the headline feature of this update aimed at providing an alternative way of improving military power outside of buying cities. This new module allows you to purchase permanent upgrades to your unit caps, unit purchase costs, and upkeep costs. This module also comes with 2 new projects. First, the Military Research Center, allows you to begin purchasing military research and also increases your project cap by 2. The second, Military Doctrine project decreases the cost of buying military research by 5%. Your research can be reset at the cost of 1 credit, refunding your cash investment but not resources. You can find military research on your military page, enjoy!

Military Page

Speaking of the military page, it has received a major facelift. You can now buy all of your military units on the same page! It also has options for buy all, sell all, and a special option to buy in the standard MMR format used by many alliances. We are still collecting feedback on this page and it may receive tweaks over the next couple weeks.

Ship Rebalance

Ships have had significant balancing changes made. The most important is they now have 4 attack options similar to planes.

  • Target Infrastructure: Does the original infrastructure damages and 30% Reduced Naval Casualties
  • Target Ships: Does 30% Reduced Infrastructure and 30% Increased Naval Casualties
  • Naval Ground Defense: Does 30% Reduced Infrastructure, 30% Reduced Naval Casualties and Removes Ground Control on immense triumph.
  • Naval Air Defense: Does 30% Reduced Infrastructure, 30% Reduced Naval Casualties and removes Air Control on immense triumph.

 Additionally all naval battles now have 20% more ship casualties for both sides compared to previously. And finally ships have their operation costs reduced. Gasoline has been reduced from 1.5 to 1 gasoline per ship per battle. With munitions reduced from 2.5 to 1.75 munitions per ship per battle.

Cost Tweaks

Some units have had their upkeep or purchase costs changed to address economic imbalances between units.

Upkeep

  • Ships > Reduced to 3300 during peace & 5000 during war (Previously 3375 & 5062.5)
  • Planes > Increase to 750 during peace & 1000 during war (Previously 500 & 750)

Purchase Costs

  • Plane cost increased from 5 aluminum per plane to 10 aluminum per plane
  • Nuke cost increased to 1000 aluminum, 500 gasoline, 500 uranium
  • Missile cost increased to 150 aluminum, 100 gasoline, 100 munitions

Beige Buff

Players in beige with no active wars will see an increase in the number of soldiers, tanks, aircraft, and ships they can recruit per day by 15%. This effect is additive with the Propaganda Bureau project. The goal of this change is to allow knocked down players to return to fighting more easily. The design team acknowledges that this change may be somewhat underpowered but wishes to see it in play before making any further adjustments.

Reasons for Update

To round off this change a explanation of the thought process from the Design Team Lead Keegoz.

It has been clear for a while that whales need other investment options away from cities, as late game content becomes thin. This update is very much intended for those in the higher to whale tiers, and that’s why there is a project cost, to avoid having it be a noob trap but also to avoid someone trying to unbalance the lower tiers.

My hope is that if this is successful, we can expand further upon it with more upgrade options and possible projects for upgrade cost reductions. Furthermore, I would like to see a similar econ one created in the future. It also adds another resource sink to the game.
