It was on the December of 2070 (IMT), that Our young Queen declared that her new mission for herself and for her islands, would be to join her heart and form union with a suitor and protector... the sceptics were flocking... with voices whispering hither and thither... "its about time our Queen secured the position of the throne for herself and her family line"...

I myself was among those gossiping critics.. yet my voice did not join them in their sly ushers … for I like many other fellow islanders.. shall hold the respect for our kind and humble guardian... Our Queen Rosemary (as many here name her and know her). I will not support the belief that blood is the most important factor that decides the dweller on the throne... I know the Queen herself is against the dogmatic ideas of royal blood and rule by divine right and heritage. She discards the idea that a person should rule due to the family he was reared from. She herself was from a rural island background and the castle she lives in is not a symbol of royalty.  Amhuinnsuidhe Castle is a symbol of ancient architectural beauty and the beauty of Scotland herself. The ornaments... the formations of the walls and the very heart that she was formed from... from the gothic arch to the Celtic abbey.... from the rose window in the days of the 5th century to the Neolithic rock formations on the east side.... Our Queens fortress is time itself and represents the human hand in all its wonders.... not the Artificial convention of a ruling class. Queen Rosemary is not the ruling class and it pains me to have to constantly emphasises this to our people... and those abroad. But sadly this is a necessary message I must include in my article today.

So when I Like many others heard the news through my daily pigeon post.. I discovered mixed emotions swim through my literary mind. I thought of the time 3 years back …and imagined the great relief She must be feeling under the weight of the advisors. I could not contrive a future in which she would be free from her obligation. A Queen alone is a Queen as pure as the driven snow... a white that many wish to darken. We have all heard before the tale of the bride of Ness... have we not? ... and how the mad and besotted villagers drove the young maiden to her doom... well I do not mean to draw unwanted comparisons.. but can anyone really deny that the propaganda from a certain letting in Leverburgh was disturbing to say the least? To actually declare Our Queen as a prize for the greatest peat digger? I find myself unable to think of the chain of logic that those mailmen found themselves climbing. So naturally your would find a wave of relief flood through me. Yet I also found a element of fear... fear for what she should face on her new voyage out into the sea of raging flare. Love, as you may well know reader... is not a calm breeze on a hilly walk... it is a goliath ocean that does not stop crashing upon the rocks. Our Queen will have a lot to bear.

But amongst these mottled feelings I did feel a one that outweighed most of the others... and it was this emotion the led me to buy whistle cake like all you celebrating romantics out there. For I too had Known love and I too knew of the Joy it would bring. So as I scribe this article.. recalling all the emotions I felt When hearing of the news today... I smile faintly (and rather more extravagantly inside) for I know our Queen has found her path (as windy as it might be), and that she has found life itself....  if the news be true that is!...(for all is just hot of the press!).

Yet, all messages from the castle do indicate clearly that Our Queen Rusalochka has indeed began courtship with the Earl Of York, and therefore due to the stone facts that are being brought to us by hand... We, as your well established Printing Press and I Patrick Hibbard who represents them.. are  obligated to tell you celebrating hopeful romantics....  that  The Royal Romance has Indeed Begun!... and that all new incoming information of the said matter will be swiftly given to you as it is handed to us.. Hot off the press!... from our fellow flying pigeons!

So, fellow islanders and dear readers.. stay tuned for the next addition to our romantic story... for there will be more (and I can assure you I'm quite certain of it!) Drama to come.. ! For love is like the Sea.. and the sea does not intend to be still in the midst of the wind... that shudders like a flame...
