The Prime Minister has already made sweeping changes in Gwlad Emrys following his election victory on Friday. In a statement this morning, the government announced that:
“All of the $21 million pound debt owed has been repaid this morning by the government.”
Gwlad Emrys reportedly fell into debt after receiving a large withdrawal bill to leave the UPN. This move by the Prime Minister has helped bring many Liberal backbenchers into line - especially those that believe that the government should not be made into debts.
However, this is only one move made by the Prime Minister, emphasising that his government has already got down to work.
This morning, the National Intelligence Agency was founded, with the government promising to increase the number of spies over the next few days.
“The formation of the Intelligence Agency is paramount to our security and will ensure that our military is supported by a strong intelligence force”
Finally, the government also gave an announcment regarding industry.
“The Industrial Strategy Minister also is announcing that, after meetings with Industry Leaders, we will gradually build additional Munitions Factories in the place of Lead Mines to further increase our munitions capacity”.
Analysis
This is a move that is designed to show the Gwlad Emrys population, as well as leaders across Orbis, that this new Liberal government has gone straight to work. This is truly reflective of election night as well - no late celebrations, just the quiet job of preparing for government. People across Gwlad Emrys however, will judge this government over their actions over the next year, not only over this weekend.
