The United Gulvian Party a well-known conservative party created a new bill that would abolish the current succession laws in Gulviia, The Kingdom currently uses an Absolute Cognatic Primogeniture type of succession law that gave women the right to rule or to inherit the law was first introduced by King Eduard 'the frail' in 2078 after winning the civil the war, Marius Ezon of the United Gulvian Party argues that the bill was necessary to avoid mistakes and prevent women from taking power, Marius even uses Queen Lena. Queen Lena monarch of Gulvia from 2066-2070 and her weak policies and aggressive acts towards the pro-republican faction led to the civil war and ended the Helenian Dynasty which gave Alfonso's a chance to take over.

The Bill was criticized by many including the staunch feminist, House of Delegates Speaker and the current Prime Minister Alma Saltana she argues that the bill aims to limit freedom, especially for women. Prime Minister Alma Saltana also says that the Kingdom promotes freedom and democracy and the bill was heavily against it she also promised that the Unified Gulvian Front would do anything so the current undemocratic bill could not pass, The United Gulvian Party needed to pass 2/3rds of the votes from the House of Delegates and if the bill passes it will be presented to King Ewald Alfonso.

Iza is the most populated city in Gulvia, home to the Alfonso's and the place where the major battle in the civil war happened. Although an important and historic city, Iza was heavily neglected even by King Eduard Alfonso I himself after the civil war most of the commercial infrastructure, important trade routes, and roads were destroyed. Nearly 120,000 civilian lives in Iza were lost further weakening the once Historic City, In 2080 King Eduard Alfonso I tried to fix the situation in Iza by repairing important infrastructure to ensure economic stability in the City, but the population by 2080 rises significantly and more people are looking for jobs but the government could not provide for them as King Eduard also tried to repair most of the ruins in Gulvia but to no avail. Until King Alfonso II came and the disastrous situation of Iza could not be saved, and homelessness rose significantly because of the lack of jobs as the city was continuously neglected by the crown more people looked for opportunities somewhere and left the once great city, Even people left the city there are still reports of homelessness and lack of electricity, water in the area it is currently considered as the worst city in Gulvia until today.
