The streets of Goldenia the nation’s Capital erupted into chaos today as rioting broke out amidst mounting frustrations over The Holy Golden Empires failing economy due to the global recession.
What began as simple peaceful protests has escalated very quickly into violent clashes as riot police arrest many and shoot tear gas into crowds. Some of the protesters were seen to throw Molotov cocktails at the riot police.
This unrest has been felt through the empire though suppressed by the police they could no longer contain it and the people show how they are struggling to even make ends meet.
“It’s horrible! I had a good job until half of our company was let go because of the current economic crisis. We shouldn’t have to live in fear of one day we will lose something else.” -Protester

As protesting has been worse throughout the nation but especially in the capital city of Goldenia, the emperor has sent the Royal Golden army units to support the local police force. As well as making a mandatory curfew and declaring a state of emergency in the capital city of Goldenia.
In the royal palace a audio recording has been leaked about the emperor blaming the people for the economic situation. “The people don’t understand that I’m doing everything I can to fix the economy. The emperor has denied saying this, saying it was a work of AI and wasn’t him blaming communists rioters of making it.
