THE İNCİDENT
There was a rally of the Communist Party in Tabriz this morning. At the same time, an Islamist party was organizing a rally in an area 970 meters away from the rally area. The voices of speakers, marches and people on both sides were so loud that eventually the people living there complained about the situation to the municipality. The municipality teams that came after that gave a warning to both sides. But the voices on both sides did not cease; on the contrary, they grew louder. Then they started shooting at the Communist Party's rally area from the 6th floor of a nearby apartment building. The voices stopped there. Before the security forces at the scene could intervene, some people in the rally area started shooting towards the apartment building. The sounds stopped and only screams and gunshots could be heard. and 20-30 people went up to the apartment building and occupied all the houses on the 6th floor. Some waited at the doors of houses on other floors. Likewise, there was a conflict with security forces in the rally area. Then, many soldiers, armored vehicles and a helicopter were dispatched to the area. At the same time, armed clashes broke out between some Islamists and communists who moved from their own rally areas to the other rally area. The events started at the scene at around 11 am and continued until 9 in the evening. A curfew was declared in Tabriz and its surroundings. All the fleeing suspects were caught. Speaking about this incident, President Enver Pashov banned both political parties from rallies until the next election and said that all political activities were banned until April 20.
The offical casualities and arrests:
153 people died. (10 of them are the police and 2 of them are soldiers and one child lost her live in the apartment)

2 people from the apartment and
one police officer got arrested because of that incident
