Raritania's military

Here’s another regular update on Raritania’s military, including

Numbers above about 100 will be rounded to the tens, above 1,000 to the hundreds, above 10,000 to the thousands, and so on.

About 5% of the (active) army is always deployed to Kolakia, with similar amounts in the AFR. In addition, about 1-0.5% is split between Raritania's overseas bases and territories, including Ascension, Jan Mayen, and Fort Sable (built on reclaimed land just off Sable Island).

In times of war, Raritania can continue to conscript people if the main force and reserves are not enough.

First off:

Raritanian Army

The Raritanian army posesses nearly 3 million soldiers and tens of thousands of armored vehicles. The army is also responsible for missiles and air defenses. Infantry are armed with weapons like the CR-33 assault rifle (replaced by the BEAR-02 laser rifle and the BEAMg3 laser machine gun)and the Thorn-3 RPG. All are issued sidearms, and many are trained to use grenades.

The army and the marines are further organized into “armies”

Active Duty Personnel: 1,000,000 organized into 4 armies

Joint Governance Army: 250k personnel (separate from Active Duty, serves under TUI military)

Reservists: ~1,000,000 organized into 4 armies

Logistics personnel: 2,000,000, including 100,000 transport trucks and 50,000 other vehicles 

BAI-02 Fox (IFV): ~10,500 (+3,000 in storage)

BAT-00 Wolf (Tank): ~1,750 (+1,600 in storage; for sale to other nations)

_{The BAT-00 is Raritania's original tank, directly inherited from the Bedland Order. However, it is becoming outdated and is no longer in production.}

BAT-01 Alpha  (Tank): ~2,500 (+1,000 in storage)

_{The BAT-01 is the main tank in the Raritanian military. It is slowly being replaced by the BAT-03 but is still in production and is the dominant workhorse of our military. It is now for export.}

AT-1 Lynx (Tank): 39 (only in use in elite units)

RSRRS (MLRS): 100

_{The Raritanian Short Range Rocket System is a form of rocket artillery with a range of about 30 miles. It launches, depending on the precise model, anywhere between 12 and 48 missiles containing a variety of warheads.}

N-1 (IRBM):  200 (85 armed with 5kt nuclear warheads)

_{The Norman-1 has a range of about 3,000-4,000 miles.} 

N-2 (ICBM): 70 (warhead: 100kt), 30 (warhead: 5mt)

_{The N-2 can reach anywhere on earth in 2 hours.}

Norman-3 (Cruise Missile): 160 (100 armed with 10kt nuclear warheads)

_{It can reach anywhere on earth in 90 minutes. It was used in the only nuclear strike Raritania has conducted against an enemy nation, against Cruzeiro during the La Plata war}

These are Raritania's water forces.

The Raritanian Air Force is the most technologically advanced of Raritania's military branches. It is responsible for aircraft both manned and unmanned (with the exception of the BNA-01 and surface-launched missiles)

UPCOMING PROJECTS

In 2095 we will release the BH-02 

we have a huge naval overhaul planned for the next year, including the release of the BNZ-00 nuclear sub in 2095, and the associated N-5 nuclear-tipped SLBM. The BF-07 will release 2097.     

From now on, rather than make new bulletins i’ll just keep this one pinned and update it.
