The man is made of money
The wealth of the mystical isle of York towers above the isle of Lewis and Harris. The variation of scenery, the richness of wildlife and the mythical surroundings of the isle of York cannot be compared to our little grey and gale swept isle. nothing is truly known much about the isle of York. it is a place shrouded in complete mystery to us outsiders. Only one article has ever been released on this island about it. However now that the Duke who rules and owns the island is going to forge relations and effectively take the isle of Lewis and Harris under his wing... Perhaps it's time to start doing our research into his background.
So many of the royal advisors have done so and quite frankly the things they found out about him were indeed a little frightening.
The question of the man's wealth is what is the most unsettling. He seems to have a lot.. and we mean a lot of money, for an earl or even a king. . Of course we are not allowed to disclose just how much ... but it is much much much more than our queen...
Even though we cannot disclose the amount of his net worth ... We can reveal some new pictures of the earl’s properties in the isle of York... These pictures have been taken within the last few weeks by the current travelers who are touring the island and documenting what they have seen. They were asked specifically by the royal advisors to paint the properties and sites that were owned by the Isle of York … and then send the paintings of their discoveries back through parcel delivery and messaging system.
Maybe by seeing these you might get an idea of the grandeur of his existence... Before each of the paintings is shown… There is a brief message from the travellers. ~~~~
“This is the castle where the earl of york resides on some occasions . It is ancient. We found a local ice cream shop near the local village… if it was to be called a village as you would picture a village. There were only a couple of sheds there. These parts are very remote indeed….. So we asked the woman selling the ice cream how old the palace was and she told us it was “since time began”... of course this was an exaggeration… but I think what she meant was that there were no records of its building so therefore we noted it to be ancient. Me and my companion did not feel comfortable going near and checking the architecture… because well… it just gave me this odd feeling of, well. As if there was a spell over it… protecting it. You may think I sound foolish.. But trust me.. If you ever dared to set foot here… your ideas of the world will fall away to mist.
We were also able to find an old book that contained pictures that happened to be from the interior of the palace… don't ask me where we found the book. That is a tale I haven't the words to describe. Just appreciate that we pioneers got the book please… ~
This is the interior of the place as per the ancient book…
~ we traveled further, deeper and came to find another castle/ When we asked the “people “, they told us it was owned by his Lordship too. What is he… some kind of king already? We honestly thought he was coming to this island to be king… but in terms of standard and quality of life he already seems to be living better than most kings in this day and age. I think it has something to do with the way the ruling class is set up there. They consider the title of lord to be equivalent to kings.
Well anyway… After being here so long we don't give a actually freaking damn about politics…. Just the way it should be. Ok here are the pictures. Gotta go now and set up the campfire…for tonights supper..
~ The next few castles are what found quite often and honestly this kind of style if my favorite
Oh now these were amazing to find… I must admit I couldn't believe he actually owned these. But we knocked on the door and a nice chap called Henry replied and told us that his lordship was saving these castles for when he returned with his wife…when he returned with her?!
Oh and here is one interior painting cos we got to go there… but not allowed to tell you why yet… our group has made this stuff top secret… maybe we'll release a more as a series of novels or something cos thats honestly the amount of adventure we had travelling here
Anyway here it is
Now comes the best ones… if the ones already weren't magic… Now look here this castle is where the earl of york lives normally …
The inside of his palace…taken from old paintings from the past..
Pictures of the city in the daytime. It said the earl likes to go shopping on this street… this style suits him i think.
Today we saw a ship arriving…in the royal city
The heights of some building in other cities was scary
We saw some random girl trying to get in… not sure what was happening. Anyway apparently he owns this one too… just like he owns all the ones in this list… lucky chap
If this newspaper receives anymore… we shall surely publish! Farewell all!
there is one question we have after seeing all of this however... why would man of such a kingly and rich status come to our lowley little island? surely there would be greater places for him to go?

The extracts are from the travelers who are currently exploring the lands of york and sending the findings to us. They may be rather casual in tone… and therefore some parts may be describing events going on through their day to day lives.
