it is now very clear that the majority of the population of the isle and Lewis and Harris, are very much united in the opinion that earl of York is a evil and domineering man who will ruin the country and act like a tyrant as soon as he takes the crown. The Queen has been greatly cristised by many of the nobles, the factions and the the general public for allowing what they think is a rude and arrogant man to take over everything. The protests continue to rage on in the capital city and the media outlets continue to try to slander the future king which of cause is not helping ease the social tension.... In fact the recent speeches heard at the protest in the capital have been starting to concern the city guard and the police department.

Sergeant Holmes reported to Harris news station via phone call at noon and said   "The feminists have started making really rude and quite horrifying remarks about the queen. Its very surprising because you would expect the earl of York to be facing more of the public scrutiny, but this is not the case. The Queen seems to be the target for the feminist union. They really are starting to sound alarming. I think they hate her because she has basically submitted to the earl..and for a Queen to do that and publicly give him all the power... i think its too much for liberal population to take..I was just having a tea break a few hours ago and i cant tell you how loud and noisy they sounded. I even heard someone screaming "Sack the Queen!"... It was annoying because i couldn't drink my tea in peace ."

sadly the ability to reach the capital from other more remote parts of the island has become greatly compromised due to the protesters taking up parking space and blocking the roads with their cars. The economic effects on the city have not been documented yet but the effects are sure to be evident soon.
