As of the 22nd of July, 2063, levels of militarization in Centuria have reached a new high. Recently, there has been heavy activity from within the parliament and leadership of Centuria, and several bills have been passed to authorize the activation of large portions of Centuria's defense force. While it is unclear what caused this militarizion, it is possible that there may be a major conflict occurring shortly.
All branches of the CDF have seen a notable upsizing:
- CDF Infantry Corps have been called to service and are currently awaiting deployment at several bases across the nation.
- CDF Drone Support units have had a new influx of light and medium type ‘Spectre’ Infantry support drone variants, and there are unconfirmed reports of significant increases in Centuria's airborne drone count.
- The CAF has seen a major increase in aircraft numbers, and while distribution is unknown, there have been reports of increased aircraft counts at air force bases across the nation.
- The CPN has seen heavy redeployment to the seas south of Centuria, and CPN High Command reports that on the 21st June - 1st July, there were intensive training exercises taking place in conjunction with the CAF.
With all of the militarization, it raises the question: What's the threat? For all of the investigation that CCNN has done, very little reliable evidence has been found in regards to targets / threats. However, these new levels may come as a result of a wider international climate, as several other nations are showing similar levels of militarization.
