Riots in the Berglander republic have become the norm over time. But now a breakthrough happened which noone could have expected:

Tawantinsuyan Protesters could overthrow the mayor of Oranjestad and expell military and police.

On June 26 a protest was sceduled. Police expected around 500 protesters to appear. It was just a small regional protest about a fringe topic after all. Not even about the government. Nothing... So it at least seemed. They were met with around 75,000 protesters, some of them armed. Police couldn't hold its position and the military failed utterly with some estimates figuring out about 2300 Berglander Soldiers and 240 Policemen died. Some of the Protesters claimed the airport, some confiscated firearms from a local military base, and some raided a bank. Causes for the casualties include:

  • Ambushes
  • High amount of protesters
  • Narrow streets
  • Firearms
  • Use of suprisingly sophisticated explosive

Protesters already centralised into an organisation called "Tawantinsuyan Revival".

They want to build contact with the Inkakunapa oposiciónnin to gain official political support within the Berglander Republic and want to plan more uprisings.
