Gavastek Army Begins Liberation of The Free State of Finland

GBN-           The Liberation of The Free State of Finland began yesterday as both Gavastekan and Swedish troops crossed the land border between Gavastek and the puppet-government ruled land. The liberation movement, which was decided via a referendum in October, 2088, granted the military of Gavastek special temporary powers to cross the border, and remove the Pro-Russian puppet regime that currently rules the Finnish lands with an iron fist.

           The beginning forces is reported at over 150 thousand combined troops, armed with state of the art equipment. As of now, the Finnish military has not shown any resistance, with the capital pulling most troops towards itself. Out of all Finnish lands, an estimated 15% of it has become occupied and removed from the tyrannical regime's power. All Finnish citizens in occupied lands have been granted or are in the process of being granted temporary citizenships, so that they make receive benefits otherwise not entitled to before or during the liberation.
