GBN- Tuesday, Gavastekan citizens took to the polls to decide whether or not to annex The Free State of Finland. Finland, which has been under the control of Russia--pro-russian puppet governments since its independence--has been the subject of a referendum within Gavastek on a number of reasons, particularly laid out in the core pillars of the resolution:
The referendum passed with flying colours, as growing worries in the country concerned people of the increasingly repressive and authoritarian pro-russian, anti-cultural puppet government of The Free State of Finland increased in worrying actions. The Grand Marshal of The Air Force replied to a question for comment by saying, "This referendum voted on by the people of our great nation is a step towards helping Finnish people, who have suffered too long under regimes of tyranny and fear, much as our people had under the second republic. We owed Sweden a great deal for helping our freedom and independence from Russia's iron grip, and now it is our turn to pass along the favour."
